The American-Scottish Foundation, Inc. is a nationwide, non-profit American organization whose broad and imaginative purpose is to build bonds of interest and co-operation, both social and commercial, between the people of Scotland and the United States. ... The Foundation provides Scots and Americans with a strong, non-political base and general point of contact.  This association includes institutions and individuals with cultural, economic, educational, genealogical and travel interests.

The Scottish American Society [Akron, Ohio] is a group of people interested in the culture and history of Scotland and her people. We are open to participation by individuals and families of all ages.  Our gatherings are held at various places.

The Fauquier Scottish Heritage Society (Fauquier County, Virginia) is a group of individuals interested in promoting, preserving, and expanding Scottish heritage, culture, and history.  It is not a clan society, but an umbrella organization that accepts anyone who shares this interest.  Contact Jim Nimmo at 540-428-3728 or by .

The Family of Bruce International is a non-profit organization established to create and promote kinship amongst its family members and to encourage interest in the Family of Bruce and its history.  Membership is open to persons who qualify by surname, by descent, or by recognized septs:  Carlysle, Carruthers, Crosbie, Randolph, and Stenhouse.  It is the only such organization recognized by the hereditary chief of the Name of Bruce, The Right Honorable the Earl of Elgin and Kincardine.

The Caledonian Club of Florida West welcomes everyone, regardless of ethnic background, who has an interest in Scotland, its history and culture.  It was founded in 1986 in Sarasota, Florida as an ethnic group for those interested in Scottish culture and history.  The Club has also created the Caledonian Club Foundation to support cultural and educational institutions and programs, including historic preservation and restoration.

The Heather and Thistle Society of Houston, Texas:  The Heather and Thistle Society was founded in 1953 by Scots living in Houston who wished to 'cultivate an interest in and fond recollections of Scotland, its history and traditions, its literature and ideals, its minstrelsy and song, its customs and amusements; and to provide opportunities for good fellowship and social contact through typically Scottish functions, so that the blessing of our Scottish culture may never die in our new homeland'.

Scottish Heritage Society of Iowa - The Greater Iowa Chapter of the Scottish Heritage Society of Iowa was formed in 1975 by the children and grandchildren of members of two organizations prominent in the early days of Des Moines history, the Robert Burns Club and the St. Andrews Society

The New York Caledonian Club established in 1856, promotes the musical, literary and social heritage of Scottish culture and is open to anyone with an interest in Scotland.

The Caledonian Club of Sacramento, which was established in 1876, is a nonprofit organization formed to preserve Scottish heritage, culture and traditions.

The Moscow Caledonian Club was founded in the end of 1994.

The Saltire Society, founded in 1936, is a non-political body concerned with all aspects of Scottish life and culture.  Through its Awards it promotes excellence in the arts and sciences. ... The Society has branches all over Scotland.  There are seven branches in total - Aberdeen and North East, Dumfries and District, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Helensburgh, Highland and Kirriemuir.  The Society headquarters are in Edinburgh. Each branch organises its own meetings, lectures, outings and social occasions.

The North Carolina Scottish Heritage Society was established as a non-profit incorporated organization to promote study, research and publications concerning the ancestry and heritage of North Carolina's Scottish settlers and the Society began publishing 'The Argyll Colony Plus'.

The purpose of the South Bay Scottish Society of San Francisco is to stimulate and sustain an interest in Scotland; to provide education regarding its history, traditions and culture; to bring together people of Scottish heritage; to promote goodwill between its members and general public; and to perform charitable good works as may be reasonable and appropriate.

The Scottish-American Military Society "was founded as a veterans organization.  The membership is composed primarily of veterans of Scottish ancestry who have served -- or are serving -- in the Armed Forces of the United States and the Commonwealth.  If you support the purposes shown on our Web site, we would welcome your membership if you qualify.  Membership is open to honorably discharged veterans or active duty or reserve military persons who have served or are serving with any branch of the US Armed Forces."

The Federated Caledonian Societies of Southern Africa

The Scottish Society of Tidewater Virginia exists to promote the preservation and study of Scottish culture, including music, art, history, folklore, dance, literature, athletics, and all other things distinctively Scottish among interested persons in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area and to cooperate with like-minded pesons, groups and organizations here and abroad.

The Texas Scottish Heritage Society was formed to research those of Scottish heritage and the impact they have had on Texas history, and to promote and preserve the unique cultures of Texas and Scotland through research, education and public awareness.

The Utah Scottish Association is a non-profit organization.  It was founded in 1976, 100 years after the first Scottish festival was held in Salt Lake City.  It exists to promote and perpetuate Utah's rich Scottish heritage..

The Scottish Foundation of the Virginia Highlands is a nonprofit Scottish heritage and fellowship organization covering western and south-central Virginia.  Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in Scottish culture or is of Scottish/Celtic descent.

The Wabash Valley Scottish Society, Terre Haute, Indiana, was founded in May 2003, to provide a means for individuals of Scottish heritage or interest to experience and participate in activities that celebrate and promote the Scottish culture and heritage.  The Wabash Valley Scottish Society also provides scholarships to qualified applicants who are involved in Scottish studies, including history, performance, or other fields of endeavor.
