The Wolfman, the Shrink, and the Eighth-Grade Election, from D.M. Nigro, features a middle school student named David Cameron who dares to wear a kilt to class on the most important day of his life!

There's a wolfman loose in the Boston Harbor town of Winport!  For Lori Stanton, managing rich, popular David Cruise's campaign for class president is a fantasy-come-true.  Until the hot political race turns negative.  David's opponent is Lori's unconventional new friend, Cap Cameron, a California transfer student with a secret.  Some claim Cap is visiting a psychologist, a shrink.  Worse, he's been seen after dark, alone with the mysterious wolfman.

Can David use this strange story to steal the election?  If he does, is it fair?  Wild rumors are flying through Winport Junior High, and Lori is caught right in the middle.  Will David's negative campaign spoil everyone's election day dreams?
