The Cemetery - October 1997
This is the war memorial in the Cemetery in Kirriemuir.
The Kirriemuir War Memorial page of the Old 5th (Angus & Dundee) Battalion, The Black Watch lists the names of the youth and manhood of the parish of Kirriemuir who fell in the service of their king and country in the great war. The Roll of Honour - 1914 to 1921 includes men who died while serving with other units, but who are known to have originally enlisted as 'Territorials' with the 5th (Angus & Dundee) Battalion earlier in the war.
